How Griloc window lock works?
The Griloc window lock consists of top case, lever, vertical shaft casing, vertical shaft, bottom case, locking pin, florescent locking pin housing case as shown in the diagram below:-
It is to be installed at the lower left corner of the sliding
window grille.
To lock the Griloc window lock,
push the lever to block the window grille.
Push the vertical shaft at the bottom case upwards until it blocks the lever. The Griloc window lock is now in a locked position.
Push the locking pin at the bottom case until it fit into a hole at the opposite side of the bottom case.
A closer look of the locking pin at the
bottom case is as shown in the figure here.
In the emergency, just pull the locking
pin at the bottom case causing the vertical shaft in the vertical shaft case to drop.
As
the vertical shaft drops by gravity unblocking the lever, the window grille can
be pushed open.
